On the Pond Fitness & Rentals was created to share the passion of its founder, Rachel Bybee. Rachel discovered SUP and knew it was something that would be a permanent part of her life. Currently Rachel caters to every level of yogi and paddler to create a custom & memorable experience. At On the Pond Fitness & Rentals you can try your hand at paddling for the first time and Rachel will be there every step of the way. Have you had time to play on a paddle board and just want to continue the experience, come rent a few boards for you and your group and spend the day in the water and sun. Looking for something more specific? Schedule a yoga class on the boards with Rach, take your significant other out for a sunset date night paddle or test your endurance with a long distance paddle and get the workout of a lifetime. Whatever your goals are Rachel & On the Pond Fitness & Rentals are there to make sure it happens. Stand up paddle boarding is an adventure that’s sure to put a smile on your face for days!
Rentals are available in a variety of options. You can rent a board for 4 hours ($25) or for the entire day ($35). Daily rentals include the board, paddle, pump and life jacket. Night before pick up is availavble. We allow travel time to your location. Pickup is in Farr West, Utah. Call 801-732-1183 to reserve your board.
Private & Semi-Private lessons are available at a rate of $45 for a 2-hour lesson.
Three days of in-depth training in beginner SUP, SUP yoga, water safety and life-saving skills, guidelines for creating a beginner SUP and SUP Yoga lessons including teachbacks, and some SUP acroyoga just for fun. You'll leave this training with a certificate qualifying you to teach in the SUP venue of your choice. Training includes board and equipment rental, a delicious catered lunch each day, a training manual, and a swag bag full of gifts from our sponsors DSP Paddleboards and EcoXgear. Meet Rachel, the lively spirit behind On the Pond Fitness & Rentals. Her introduction to SUP came in Hawaii in 2010 while vacationing with friends. Once was all it took for Rachel to know that SUP was coming to Utah because she would find a way to bring it here and share it. The only thing better than having something you're passionate about is having someone to share it with and that’s when On the Pond Fitness & Rentals was born.
Since that time Rachel has been certified to teach stand up paddle boarding (SUP) and SUP Yoga from the incredible Jillian Gibree of Paddle Into Fitness from San Diego, California. She is a yoga teacher certified through Infusion Yoga & Pilates, run by the fantastic Corena Hammer from Bountiful, Utah. Rachel is also a Pro Team Athlete for Dave Scadden Paddle Boards.
